Mount Leather & Apparel Inc. was established in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2019. We proudly opened our first retail location in Elmsdale in 2021, followed by a second in downtown Halifax.

Our family-run business was founded by Nafees, with the support of her husband Iqubal. While our brand is proudly Canadian, our roots in leather craftsmanship go back more than 25 years, when our family operated a successful leather business in India before moving to Canada.

Today, we present our products under the brand ALM – Authentic Leather Merchandise. From everyday essentials to statement pieces, our collection includes everything from wristbands and belts to wallets, handbags, clutches, backpacks, and leather travel bags. Each piece is carefully designed and made with a focus on durability, style, and timeless craftsmanship.

As a local Canadian business, we take pride in bringing authentic, high-quality leather goods to our community and beyond.
